By accessing or using PaperScore, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our services.

PaperScore provides an AI-powered platform for academic paper review ("Service"). The Service uses artificial intelligence agents to analyze manuscripts and provide feedback on methodology, novelty, and other academic criteria.

The Starter plan is a one-time purchase - you pay once for a fixed review allowance, with no subscription or recurring charge. Pro and Enterprise plans are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly as described on our pricing page. The Enterprise plan is marketed as "unlimited" reviews but is subject to a fair-use policy: it includes up to 1,000 reviews per month. This ceiling exists to prevent abuse and protect platform stability; it is not a hard product limit for legitimate use, and genuine high-volume needs can be accommodated by contacting us at support@paperscore.io.

You may cancel a Pro or Enterprise subscription at any time from your billing page. Your plan remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no further charges are made. One-time Starter purchases do not renew and require no cancellation.

Refunds are handled case by case - if you believe you were charged in error or the Service failed you, contact us at support@paperscore.io. If a payment is refunded in full, the associated subscription ends immediately and the account reverts to the base tier.

• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering for an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree not to use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to the manuscripts you upload.

Your Content: You retain full ownership of the manuscripts and data you upload to PaperScore. We claim no intellectual property rights over the material you provide to the Service.

Our Service: The PaperScore platform, including its code, design, and algorithms, is the property of PaperScore/Qubit Dynamics and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated reviews may contain errors. You should verify any critical information provided by the Service. We do not guarantee that the reviews will lead to paper acceptance at any specific venue.

In no event shall PaperScore, its directors, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
